Product scope

## Awario remains a conventional social-listening and web-monitoring product

Awario is built around keyword topics used to find mentions across supported social networks, news, blogs, forums and the wider web. Its current AI functionality is centered primarily on machine-learning sentiment analysis rather than dedicated generative-search or LLM visibility monitoring.

### Social listening

Users create topics around brands, competitors, products or issues and monitor matching posts from supported social channels.

### Web monitoring

Awario crawls news sites, blogs, forums and other web pages to identify keyword mentions outside social platforms.

### Reporting

Dashboards cover mention volume, reach, geography, influencers and share-of-voice comparisons.

### Sentiment analysis

Awario uses machine learning to classify monitored mentions by sentiment. This is the clearest AI component in the current core product.

Source coverage

## Awario's broad coverage language needs to be read against platform-level restrictions

Awario says its crawler processes [13 billion pages a day ](https://awario.com/about/?ref=reputation-insider.com). Its own platform documentation shows that social collection remains subject to significant source-specific restrictions.

Facebook

### Monitoring is centered on connected business pages

Awario can collect supported data from connected Facebook business pages, including page content, comments and direct tags. Personal accounts and Facebook Groups are outside the available collection route.

Instagram

### A Business or Creator account is required

Awario's [Instagram monitoring documentation ](https://awario.com/help/troubleshooting/ig-monitoring-limitations/?ref=reputation-insider.com)requires a professional Business or Creator account connected through Meta. Collection is built around permitted account content, hashtags and direct tags.

Unavailable content

### Private accounts, direct messages and promoted content are excluded

Awario documents that private social content, personal-account material outside permitted integrations, DMs and promoted content are not available for monitoring.

LinkedIn and TikTok

### Neither appears in the current official monitoring-channel list

Awario does not currently list LinkedIn or TikTok among the channels on its principal monitoring pages or [mention-source API documentation ](https://awario.com/help/api/get-mentions/?ref=reputation-insider.com).

**A large crawler does not establish complete social coverage**

Buyers should verify the exact content available from the platforms central to their own reputation program before treating Awario as the principal monitoring record.

Historical data

## Historical depth varies sharply by source, and retained data is capped

Awario says historical monitoring can reach [as far back as 10 years ](https://awario.com/social-listening-tools-comparison/?ref=reputation-insider.com). That maximum does not apply uniformly across channels.

X 7 days

Awario documents a much shorter historical retrieval window for X.

Facebook Up to 6 months

Facebook history extends further, subject to the content Awario is permitted to collect.

YouTube Up to 5 years

Awario documents materially deeper retrieval for YouTube.

Instagram Up to 10 years

Awario's marketing materials describe its deepest historical reach for Instagram.

Retained history is governed separately by plan limits. The current pricing page lists 5,000 stored mentions per topic on Starter, 15,000 on Pro and 50,000 on Enterprise.

**Reaching the stored-mention limit can interfere with collection**

Awario's [Help Center ](https://awario.com/help/?ref=reputation-insider.com)explains that once the storage limit is reached, older mentions may be removed as new ones arrive. It also warns that collection can stop for up to 24 hours, or until the user manually clears results, depending on the limit condition. A long-running project should therefore not be treated as an unlimited archive.

AI capabilities

## Awario's AI functionality is still centered on sentiment classification

Awario currently promotes [machine-learning sentiment analysis ](https://awario.com/sentiment-analysis/?ref=reputation-insider.com)as its main AI-driven capability. The product classifies mentions as positive, negative or neutral and uses that classification throughout monitoring dashboards and reports.

Core AI use

### Sentiment classification

Machine learning is used to assess the emotional polarity of collected mentions and support trend analysis across monitored topics.

Current product boundary

### No dedicated LLM-visibility module is presented

Reputation Insider did not find a current Awario product for tracking brand representation across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or other generative-answer systems comparable with dedicated AI-visibility vendors.

Buyers should therefore evaluate Awario primarily as a conventional monitoring platform with automated sentiment analysis, rather than as an AI reputation or generative-search monitoring product.

Buyer fit

## Awario makes most sense when price is more important than platform depth

Its subscription pricing gives small teams access to useful web and social monitoring without the procurement burden of enterprise listening software.

Good fit

### Small teams with defined monitoring requirements

Awario can work for brands, agencies and consultants tracking a manageable set of topics across the channels it supports.

The price also makes it practical as a secondary monitoring tool where another system covers enterprise media requirements.

Poorer fit

### Programs that depend on a durable or complete record

Storage limits, uneven historical depth and social-platform restrictions are harder to accept when monitoring supports formal reporting or retrospective investigation.

Teams requiring LinkedIn, TikTok or broad Meta monitoring should verify alternatives before making Awario their central platform.

Pricing

## Awario is inexpensive by social-listening standards

The [current pricing page ](https://awario.com/pricing/?ref=reputation-insider.com)lists three plans.

[View pricing ↗ ](https://awario.com/pricing/?ref=reputation-insider.com)

Starter **$29 / month**

Three topics, 30,000 new mentions monthly, 5,000 stored mentions per topic and one user.

$49 with monthly billing

Pro **$89 / month**

Fifteen topics, 300,000 new mentions monthly, 15,000 stored mentions per topic and up to 10 users.

$149 with monthly billing

Enterprise **$249 / month**

One hundred topics, 1 million new mentions monthly, 50,000 stored mentions per topic and unlimited users.

$399 with monthly billing

The low headline price is genuine. Retained-data limits remain part of the cost calculation for teams that expect monitoring projects to preserve a long record.

Annual discount **Awario's own pages describe the annual saving differently**

The [pricing page ](https://awario.com/pricing/?ref=reputation-insider.com)markets annual billing as saving “up to 40%,” while Awario's [Help Center ](https://awario.com/help/?ref=reputation-insider.com)describes an annual subscription as saving two months. Buyers should rely on the actual quoted annual and monthly prices rather than the promotional percentage.

Starter storage **The pricing documentation is also inconsistent on stored mentions**

The current [Starter plan card ](https://awario.com/pricing/?ref=reputation-insider.com)lists 5,000 stored mentions per topic. Elsewhere in Awario's pricing FAQ, the documented storage range begins at 3,000 mentions. Reputation Insider uses the current plan card as the operative figure and would confirm the allowance before purchase.

Independent user evidence

## User ratings are weaker than those of several direct monitoring competitors

Awario currently holds [3.9 / 5 on G2 ](https://www.g2.com/products/awario/reviews?ref=reputation-insider.com)from 48 reviews when checked in August 2026\.

3.9 / 5 G2 48 reviews when checked in August 2026

### The strongest positive theme is value for money

Reviewers commonly praise the affordable pricing and straightforward interface, which aligns with Awario's position below enterprise listening platforms.

### Missing mentions appear in recent criticism

A verified mid-market reviewer in March 2026 reported that some relevant mentions were absent and had to be added manually, with related discrepancies affecting share-of-voice reporting.

### Accuracy concerns appear alongside positive pricing feedback

A verified December 2025 reviewer described Awario as affordable and easy to use while identifying limitations in the accuracy and quality of collected mentions.

## Pros

- Pricing is substantially below many enterprise listening products.
- Setup and day-to-day monitoring are relatively straightforward.
- Web, news, Reddit, X and YouTube give small teams a useful starting source set.
- Higher plans provide large topic and monthly mention allowances for the price.

## Cons

- Important social platforms and content types have limited or absent coverage.
- Stored-mention limits can affect both retained history and ongoing collection.
- Historical depth varies materially between sources.
- Recent user reviews raise concerns about missed mentions and reporting accuracy.

Contract and data terms

## Awario's standard terms place much of the data-quality risk on the customer

Awario's [published terms ](https://awario.com/terms-and-privacy/?ref=reputation-insider.com)contain several provisions worth reviewing before the platform is used as a formal monitoring system.

Renewal **Subscriptions renew automatically** Awario says automatic renewal can be disabled by contacting support.

Refunds **Unused subscription time is generally non-refundable** The published terms do not provide a general right to a prorated refund for an unused part of a subscription.

Resultant data **Completeness and accuracy are not guaranteed** Awario explicitly disclaims responsibility for the completeness and accuracy of monitoring results generated by the service.

Service changes **Awario reserves broad rights to alter or discontinue the service** The terms allow the company to modify, suspend or discontinue software or services, including without prior notice.

Liability **Contractual liability is capped** The agreement limits aggregate liability to fees paid during the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Disputes **The contractual jurisdiction deserves procurement review** TechFusion Ltd is based in Cyprus. The terms contain dispute provisions involving courts in Larnaca and references to the law of England and Wales for matters not otherwise addressed.

Security and privacy

## Public enterprise-security documentation is limited

Awario's [privacy materials ](https://awario.com/terms-and-privacy/?ref=reputation-insider.com)describe data collection and processing by TechFusion Ltd. The published privacy policy was last updated in February 2023 when checked by Reputation Insider.

Reputation Insider did not find current public evidence of SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 certification from Awario. Buyers with formal security requirements should request current certification, subprocessors and technical-control documentation directly during procurement.

Reputation Insider verdict

## Awario is cheap enough to be useful, but difficult to rely on as a complete reputation record

Awario gives small teams a low-cost route into web and social monitoring and can work well for defined current-monitoring tasks where its supported sources match the brief.

For formal reputation measurement or historical investigation, its platform restrictions and retained-data rules require more caution.

Strongest area Low-cost monitoring for small teams and defined topics

Primary limitation Uneven source access and capped retained data

Best fit Teams prioritizing price over enterprise monitoring depth

Reputation Insider view Useful as a lightweight monitor; weaker as the principal record for serious reputation work
