Agency review

# InternetReputation.com review

InternetReputation.com is an older U.S. reputation-management brand whose present website still sells personal and business ORM, removal, suppression and monitoring. Its history is less straightforward than the brand age suggests because NetReputation acquired the site's assets in 2020, while older public records continue to connect InternetReputation.com with Marca Global.

Operating history

## The brand has a long record, but ownership changed materially in 2020

The current site says InternetReputation.com has specialized in reputation management since 2011\. BBB likewise records the business as starting and incorporating on January 20, 2011 and lists Marca Global, LLC as an alternate name.

2011

**InternetReputation.com's documented operating history begins**

BBB records a 2011 start and incorporation date. The agency's current reputation-management page also uses 2011 as the start of its specialization in ORM.

2013

**The InternetReputation.com trademark was registered**

The trademark record shows United Information Strategies LLC as the original registrant and Marca Global, LLC as the later owner recorded in the trademark history.

2020

**NetReputation announced the acquisition of InternetReputation.com's assets**

The November 2020 announcement said the transaction included assets, software and staff. NetReputation's own current accomplishments page still lists the acquisition in its corporate history.

2026

**The InternetReputation.com brand remains active as a separate customer-facing site**

Its service pages continue to accept consultations and publish new editorial content. The privacy-monitoring page refers clients to NetReputation as a sister company for privacy monitoring and content removal.

Current footprint

## The live website and older directory records point to different operating locations

InternetReputation.com's current contact page lists Olathe, Kansas. BBB still carries Denver and Parker, Colorado locations, while Clutch continues to show Denver as headquarters. The location mismatch is consistent with a brand that has changed ownership and operating structure over time, but the current site does not explain the transition.

Current website **Olathe, Kansas**

18103 W 106th St, Suite 120 is the address currently published by InternetReputation.com.

BBB record **Denver and Parker, Colorado**

BBB continues to list two Colorado locations and describes Marca Global, LLC as an alternate name.

Clutch **Denver, Colorado**

The marketplace profile appears to preserve older company data and has no client reviews.

Buyers should ask which legal entity will appear on the services agreement and invoice. The acquisition announcement confirms an asset purchase, but the current site does not clearly identify the contracting entity in its main commercial pages.

How the service is delivered

## The published method is still built around search-result control rather than a broader corporate-reputation consultancy model

InternetReputation.com describes a five-step process that starts with a reputation review and then moves into web-property development, content creation, publishing and promotion. Removal is attempted where the agency believes there is a viable route; suppression is used when content remains online.

01

**Reputation analysis**

The agency reviews search results and the wider online footprint before building a campaign.

02

**Web properties**

New or improved digital assets are created to give the campaign properties that can rank for the target name or brand.

03

**Content creation**

Content supports the owned properties and other pages the agency wants search engines to surface.

04

**Publishing**

Content and profiles are distributed across properties selected for the campaign.

05

**Promotion and monitoring**

The final stages are repeated over time. The site also describes ongoing review, social and web monitoring after the initial remediation work.

Public claims

## Several headline metrics on the live site are difficult to evaluate from the evidence provided

InternetReputation.com's current pages contain a mix of recent content and older marketing statistics. The issue for a buyer is less whether an individual number is plausible than whether the site shows enough methodology to interpret it.

97% satisfaction

**The FAQ presents a 97% satisfaction rating without publishing the underlying survey**

The site does not state the sample size, collection period, eligibility rules or whether the figure represents completed campaigns, all customers or a selected group.

4.8 / 5

**The testimonials page displays an overall 4.8/5 rating**

The page publishes short first-party testimonials, usually under initials, but does not identify the review platform, review count or methodology behind the aggregate score.

Legacy statistics

**The 2026 homepage still carries consumer and hiring statistics explicitly framed around 2017**

That does not invalidate the agency's service work, but it makes the public-facing evidence base look less current than the site's regularly updated editorial section.

Pricing and contract visibility

## Current agency pricing is quote-led, and the public cost guidance is too broad to function as a rate card

InternetReputation.com does not publish a current package table for its core reputation-management service. Its own cost guide says pricing varies with the problem, campaign length and services required, and notes that difficult removal work can reach tens of thousands of dollars.

Published price **No current standard ORM price list**

The current site routes prospective clients through a free consultation and technical review. The 2022 pricing article explains how costs are determined but does not provide a standard current monthly retainer.

**Clutch rate field**

Clutch shows $25–$49 per hour and 10–49 employees, but the profile also lists the old Denver location and has no reviews. Reputation Insider does not treat that marketplace rate as a verified current agency price.

**Service agreement**

The pricing guide says a typical contract should spell out campaign duration and included services. Buyers should obtain the actual agreement before payment and verify cancellation, refund, deliverable ownership and any third-party costs.

**Removal work**

The agency itself says content removal can be materially more expensive because some cases require legal assistance. A proposal should therefore separate direct-removal fees from continuing suppression work.

Independent client evidence

## The current third-party review base is modest and fragmented

The strongest visible rating volume comes from Google reviews syndicated through Birdeye. Other major directories provide little project-level evidence: Clutch has no reviews, while BBB currently has no customer reviews despite maintaining an A+ business rating.

Birdeye / Google **4.7/5 from 38 Google reviews**

Birdeye currently aggregates 38 Google reviews for the Olathe location. Many visible reviews are several years old, so the profile is more useful as historical customer evidence than as a large recent sample.

Directory evidence **Clutch remains “Not yet reviewed”**

The Clutch profile supplies company metadata but no client projects or verified review narratives. BBB likewise shows zero customer reviews on its current review page.

**4.7 / 5** Google via Birdeye 38 reviews when checked in September 2026

**0** Clutch reviews Profile marked “Not yet reviewed”

**A+** BBB rating Not BBB accredited; current BBB review page shows 0 reviews

Historical litigation record

## A 2018 federal case named the former InternetReputation.com operating company among several defendants

**Reflex Media v. Doe No. 1 et al.**

Reflex Media filed a federal complaint in 2018 naming Marca Global, LLC doing business as InternetReputation.com, Web Presence, LLC and other defendants. The complaint alleged an extortion-related scheme involving third-party websites and paid removal services. Those statements were allegations made by the plaintiff, not judicial findings.

The Northern District of California transferred the case to Nevada in December 2018\. The transfer order resolved venue and jurisdictional procedure rather than the merits of the allegations. The later public docket contains continuing proceedings involving multiple defendants; Reputation Insider did not find a published merits judgment against Marca Global in the sources reviewed for this article.

Buyer diligence

## The ownership transition makes basic contracting questions more important than the age of the brand

**Contracting entity**

Ask which company is signing the agreement today and whether InternetReputation.com is being sold and delivered directly by that entity or through another NetReputation operation.

**Campaign ownership**

Require the proposal to state who owns domains, profiles, written content and other properties created during suppression work after the engagement ends.

**Removal commitments**

Separate content the agency believes can be removed from content that will be addressed through suppression, and attach a fee and expected process to each category.

**Current references**

Because the independent review base is limited, larger buyers should request recent references for work comparable in problem type, jurisdiction and duration.

Reputation Insider verdict

## InternetReputation.com remains an active ORM brand, while its present operating structure is less transparent than its long history suggests

The current service model is understandable: the agency audits search results, attempts lawful removals where possible, builds new web properties and uses content and promotion to suppress material that remains online. It also continues to publish new material and accept consultations.

The larger procurement issue is corporate clarity. InternetReputation.com has a documented history dating to 2011, but NetReputation acquired the brand's assets in 2020 while BBB and trademark records continue to preserve the older Marca Global connection. The current site does not clearly explain which entity contracts with new clients.

Buyers should also distinguish the agency's own satisfaction and testimonial metrics from independently collected evidence. The visible third-party review base is relatively small, and current pricing must be obtained through consultation.

Review scope: current public website, independent directory records, corporate and trademark history, acquisition records and published federal court materials checked in September 2026\.
