Vendor review

# Reputation.com review

Reputation.com gives buyers more public information than many enterprise software vendors do, including package prices, detailed product entitlements and customer contract terms. That documentation shows a capable platform with a strong local-reputation product and a more complicated commercial picture once integrations, additional products and usage requirements enter the purchase.

Review basis Reputation Insider reviewed public pricing, product entitlements, legal terms, product and integration documentation, AI training materials, and independent user reviews.

Product scope

## The core product combines local reputation administration with customer feedback

Reputation's [Product Offering Details](https://reputation.com/legal-information/product-offering-details?ref=reputation-insider.com)provide considerably more specificity than the main marketing pages. They show a platform built around granular user permissions, location hierarchies, reporting and public customer feedback.

### Reviews

Teams can collect reviews from supported sources, respond centrally, build response templates, use AI-assisted responses and automate review requests using customer data supplied through connected systems, APIs or SFTP.

### Listings and local search

Business Listings covers profile data, accuracy audits, duplicate management and updates to major listing services. Local Search Insights tracks Google Business Profile rankings around individual locations, with customer-configurable geographic coverage and reporting cadence.

### Surveys and operational follow-up

Private survey feedback can be analyzed alongside public reviews. Customers that purchase [Actions & Ticketing](https://reputation.com/platform/actions?ref=reputation-insider.com)can assign feedback internally and track follow-up through operational workflows.

Buyer fit

## Who should consider Reputation.com

Company size alone is a poor test for this product. The stronger indicator is whether customers choose between individual locations and whether those locations require central reputation governance.

Good fit

### Businesses where location-level reputation influences customer choice

Healthcare networks are an obvious use case because patients often evaluate individual hospitals, clinics, physicians and dental practices through local search and reviews.

Automotive dealer groups, hotel operators, restaurant groups, retailers, senior-living providers, property businesses and branch-based financial services face a comparable management requirement. Each location has its own reviews and business profiles while the corporate brand remains responsible for performance across the network.

The product is particularly relevant when local managers need controlled access to their own accounts and a central reputation team needs portfolio-level reporting and policy enforcement.

Likely to overpay

### Businesses whose reputation problem sits elsewhere

B2B SaaS companies, pure e-commerce businesses and professional-services firms with little dependence on physical locations are unlikely to use enough of Reputation.com's local infrastructure to justify the purchase.

Companies principally concerned with media coverage, executive search results, corporate SERPs or broad issue monitoring need capabilities that sit outside the platform's strongest area.

A small location network that mainly wants review requesting and responses should also compare narrower products carefully, because Reputation.com's organizational controls can exceed the requirements of that use case.

AI search

## AI Reputation Manager is a real product, although public methodology still leaves questions

Reputation has materially expanded this part of the platform. The [AI Reputation Manager guide](https://reputation.com/training/guides/ARM%5FQuick%5FStart%5FGuide.pdf?ref=reputation-insider.com)shows how customers create questions, inspect outputs from multiple AI systems and review the sources behind generated answers.

Prompt control

### Customers define the questions being tested

The public guide documents up to 40 prompts. Users can preview a response before adding a question and can later add or remove questions from the monitored set.

Outputs

### The interface goes beyond a visibility percentage

The product displays summaries across AI sources, contextual sentiment, common themes and a conclusion indicating how consistent the answers are across the systems queried.

Evidence

### Users can inspect and export generated answers

The guide documents source-level citations, downloadable generated answers and a manual refresh control showing when responses were last produced.

Methodology gap

### The public documentation does not explain every measurement choice

The quick-start guide reviewed by Reputation Insider does not specify an automated collection cadence, retention period for historical outputs, ARM API availability or the sampling method used when comparing answers across AI systems.

Reputation's June 2026 materials say AI Reputation Manager can show how brand descriptions evolve over time, while the available quick-start guide dates from 2025 and provides less detail on longitudinal measurement. Buyers evaluating the AI product should ask for the current methodology and reporting specification during the demonstration.

Integrations and support

## Integration depth is useful, but availability needs to be checked against the proposed account

Reputation supports API and SFTP-based data exchange and operates Rep Connect for pre-built connections. Its current documentation also makes clear that connector availability can vary by industry and account configuration.

### Rep Connect and external systems

The current [product documentation](https://reputation.com/legal-information/product-offering-details?ref=reputation-insider.com)names connectors for widely used automotive, property, healthcare and CRM systems. The [Rep Connect guide](https://reputation.com/training/guides/Rep%20Connect%20Starter%20Guide.pdf?ref=reputation-insider.com)says available connectors depend on industry and account settings, and some connections may require a Reputation representative.

### Baseline support is more limited than the enterprise positioning may imply

The [Service Agreement](https://reputation.com/legal-information/service-agreement?ref=reputation-insider.com)includes self-guided Rep Academy training and weekday technical support by email during region-specific business hours. Enhanced training and additional technical-support packages can be purchased separately.

The public [contact page](https://reputation.com/contact?ref=reputation-insider.com)also lists support phone numbers for the US and UK. Reputation's published Enterprise package for 125+ locations includes a Customer Success Manager.

Published pricing

## What the plans cost and what changes between them

Reputation publishes three Rep Core packages. The detailed entitlement document is important because it identifies annual limits that receive less prominence on the commercial pricing page.

[View published pricing ↗ ](https://reputation.com/pricing?ref=reputation-insider.com)

| Plan | Price | Package | Usage detail |
| -------------- | --------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Rep Core | $80 per location per month | Reviews, Listings, Local Search Insights Basic, Rep Score, Experience Insights and Journey Insights. | Up to 3,000 reviews and 3,000 email requests per location each year. |
| Core + Pulse | $115 per location per month | Adds a basic Pulse Survey and AI Reputation Manager to the Core package. | Up to 6,000 email requests per location annually; the review allowance remains 3,000\. |
| Core + Surveys | $150 per location per month | Adds advanced Surveys with up to six active survey templates per contract. | Up to 12,000 email requests per location annually; the review allowance remains 3,000\. |

The public pricing page treats Competitive Insights, Actions & Ticketing and Social Suite as upgrades or add-ons. Premium Sources, Premium Integrations, managed services and professional services can also sit outside the package price. Reputation directs customers with 125 or more locations to custom enterprise plans.

**Cost at 50 locations** Using the published monthly rates, 50 locations equate to $48,000 a year for Rep Core, $69,000 for Core + Pulse or $90,000 for Core + Surveys before separately priced products and other charges.

## What the company claims

Scale figures come from Reputation's [March 2026 corporate release](https://reputation.com/resources/press/from-search-rankings-to-ai-answers-reputation-marks-20-years-by-defining-how-brands-build-trust-get-found-and-drive-revenue-in-the-ai-era?ref=reputation-insider.com); coverage figures come from its product documentation. Reputation Insider has not independently audited them.

**1,500+** active tenants reported by the company

**300,000+** locations reportedly powered worldwide

**74M** reviews reportedly managed each year

**130+** review websites cited in the review-management documentation

**100+** platforms cited for distribution of location information

## Pros

- The feature breadth has a coherent use case for distributed businesses, where local execution and corporate governance need to coexist inside the same system.
- Reputation exposes substantially more pricing, entitlement and contractual information publicly than many enterprise vendors, making meaningful pre-sales diligence possible.
- The integration catalogue includes vertical software used in healthcare, automotive and property management, which is more useful for its target buyers than a generic CRM-only ecosystem.
- The AI product gives customers direct control over the questions being tested and allows them to inspect the underlying generated answers and citations.
- Basic administration supports unlimited logins and fine-grained permissions, which avoids forcing a distributed organization into a small-seat licensing model.

## Cons

- The number of separate products, upgrades and connectivity options makes the website easier to understand than the eventual procurement decision.
- Integration support cannot be inferred from a vendor logo alone because connector availability varies by customer configuration and premium connectivity can carry additional cost.
- The public AI documentation is not detailed enough to compare collection cadence, historical measurement and API access confidently against specialist AI-search products.
- Standard support relies heavily on self-guided training and business-hours technical assistance, while more extensive assistance can require a higher package or additional purchase.
- Independent user feedback suggests that Social Suite is a less convincing reason to choose the platform than its established local-reputation products.
- Buyers cannot fully test the current commercial product through a conventional self-service SaaS evaluation flow before engaging the sales organization.

Contract terms

## The public agreement contains several provisions worth reviewing before an order form is signed

Reputation's current [Service Agreement](https://reputation.com/legal-information/service-agreement?ref=reputation-insider.com)has been effective since May 1, 2025\. The order form can change specific commercial terms, so procurement teams should compare the negotiated document with the standard agreement.

Renewal **Subscriptions ordinarily renew for another equivalent term** Unless the order form provides different terms, either party generally needs to give written notice at least 30 days before the current subscription period ends to prevent automatic renewal.

Pricing **Fees can be revised when a subscription period ends** Reputation reserves the right to change service fees for a new subscription or renewal period and states that email notification can be sufficient.

Excess use **Purchased entitlements are contractual limits** Usage above the purchased entitlement can result in degraded or incomplete service delivery and can also be invoiced at the then-current rate for the applicable service.

Messaging **Carrier fees can be passed to the customer** Reputation reserves the right to invoice telecommunications charges associated with SMS, MMS and related text-based services.

Third-party services **Specific review and listing providers are not guaranteed** Reputation can alter supported third-party integrations as external services change and does not promise that a particular review, social or business-listing provider will remain available.

After termination **Customers should plan their data exit before the contract ends** The agreement states that Reputation has no obligation to retain Customer Content after termination or expiration and that the content may subsequently be permanently deleted.

Reputation's public [Terms of Use](https://reputation.com/legal-information/terms-of-use?ref=reputation-insider.com)apply to its public websites. Paid customer access is governed by the Service Agreement, incorporated documents and the applicable order form.

Independent user evidence

## The review record is favorable, with identifiable weaknesses beneath the averages

Reputation Insider reviewed current G2 and Capterra data alongside individual user comments. The most useful distinction is between recurring praise for core review administration and criticism associated with more complex deployments or adjacent functionality.

4.6 / 5 G2 Based on 2,469 Reputation reviews when checked in August 2026

4.4 / 5 Capterra Based on 184 reviews; page updated August 26, 2026

4.3 / 5 Customer service Capterra's current customer-service score

### What receives consistent praise

Reviewers frequently value centralized administration across multiple locations, the ability to respond from one account and the usefulness of dedicated account managers. Recent July 2026 G2 feedback also describes account management and support positively.

### Where the criticism becomes specific

A detailed April 2026 G2 review cited a dense interface for new administrators, limited social depth, rigid reporting for some custom use cases and slower support during complex integration periods. The reviewer was managing more than a dozen locations.

### How Reputation Insider treats the scores

Some G2 and Capterra submissions are marked as seller-invited or incentivized, and a meaningful portion of Capterra's detailed reviews predates the current 2026 product packages. Reputation Insider therefore gives greater weight to recurring product-specific observations than to the aggregate ratings alone.

Reputation Insider verdict

## Reputation.com deserves a shortlist when local reputation is an enterprise operating requirement

Reputation Insider would recommend evaluating the platform for businesses that need centralized control across a substantial network of customer-facing locations. Its mature local-reputation capabilities are the main reason to buy it, while the newer AI functionality adds useful breadth for teams already working inside the platform.

We would be considerably less enthusiastic for organizations whose primary problem concerns corporate media, executive reputation or search exposure without a large local footprint. For the buyers that do fit, the final decision should depend on the negotiated entitlement set, required integrations and the complete annual contract value.

Strongest product area Review management and multi-location administration

Most important weakness Commercial and product complexity once the required configuration extends beyond the core package

AI assessment Credible functionality, with additional methodology detail needed for comparison against specialist AI-search platforms

Reputation Insider view Recommended for serious location-based reputation operations after detailed commercial diligence
