Vendor review

# ReviewTrackers review

ReviewTrackers remains focused on reviews and customer feedback while larger rivals expand into broader local-marketing suites. Its narrower scope keeps the product understandable, though ownership changes and unusually vendor-friendly contract language deserve attention.

Ownership

## ReviewTrackers now sits several acquisitions removed from the company that originally built it

ReviewTrackers remains marketed through its own website and product brand. Its corporate ownership has changed substantially since [InMoment acquired the company in 2022](https://www.reviewtrackers.com/blog/reviewtrackers-acquired-by-inmoment/?ref=reputation-insider.com). For buyers considering a long subscription term, product roadmap and integration plans are reasonable diligence questions.

2022 **InMoment acquires ReviewTrackers**

ReviewTrackers became part of the wider InMoment customer-experience portfolio while continuing as a reputation-management product.

2025 **Press Ganey Forsta acquires InMoment**

The transaction moved ReviewTrackers into a larger experience-management group spanning healthcare and cross-industry CX.

2026 **Qualtrics acquires Press Ganey Forsta**

Qualtrics completed the $6.75 billion acquisition in May 2026, placing ReviewTrackers within the Qualtrics corporate group.

Review management

## The core product still revolves around collecting, responding to and generating customer reviews

ReviewTrackers' [current reputation-management product](https://www.reviewtrackers.com/reputation-management-software/?ref=reputation-insider.com)combines review aggregation with response workflows, review acquisition, alerts and reporting.

Current official coverage **100+**

The current demo and pricing pages describe review data from more than 100 sources. Some older ReviewTrackers and third-party materials still cite 120+, so Reputation Insider uses the lower current official figure here.

Monitoring

### Reviews are consolidated across supported sites

Teams can filter feedback by source, location and date and use alerts to track new reviews across a multi-location portfolio.

Responses

### AI-generated replies sit alongside established response tools

ReviewTrackers supports AI Review Response as well as personalized Smart Response templates designed to reduce repetitive response work.

Acquisition

### Email and SMS can be used to request new reviews

Review solicitation is part of the current product packaging and can be used alongside broader customer-feedback campaigns.

Amplification

### Selected feedback can be displayed through review widgets

Amplify Widget gives teams a way to surface review content on owned digital properties.

ReviewTrackers should not be treated as an autonomous response platform. Its own historical guidance has emphasized human review of generative replies, while Smart Response originated as a controlled template system rather than an agent acting independently.

Experience Analysis

## The stronger differentiation appears after the reviews have been collected

ReviewTrackers' [customer-experience analytics](https://www.reviewtrackers.com/customer-experience-analytics/?ref=reputation-insider.com)uses natural-language processing, sentiment analysis and automatic categorization to turn review text into recurring operational themes.

Core use **Customer comments become structured experience data**

For companies with a large volume of reviews, the value comes from identifying repeated complaints and strengths across locations rather than reading individual reviews one at a time.

**Sentiment**

Review text can be classified by positive and negative sentiment to reveal changes that may be hidden by an aggregate star rating.

**Automatic categorization**

Feedback is grouped into themes so teams can see which parts of the customer experience recur across a large dataset.

**Keyword trends**

AI-driven keyword categorization tracks changes in the words and phrases customers repeatedly use.

**Risk escalation**

Review trends can be used to identify issues that require internal follow-up, including customer-experience or compliance concerns.

Competitor Insights

## Local benchmarking extends the review dataset beyond the customer's own locations

[Competitor Insights](https://www.reviewtrackers.com/competitor-analysis/?ref=reputation-insider.com)compares review performance with relevant competitors and uses categorized review data to show where competing businesses are gaining or losing ground.

Review performance

### Volume and velocity can be compared over time

Teams can evaluate whether competitors are accumulating reviews faster and whether their relative local reputation is improving.

Local position

### Competitive review data is tied to local markets

The product is designed to compare locations with nearby competitors rather than relying only on a single company-wide benchmark.

Experience themes

### Competitor reviews are categorized as well

ReviewTrackers uses customer comments to identify areas where competing businesses receive repeated praise or criticism.

Data and integrations

## The review dataset can be used outside the ReviewTrackers interface

ReviewTrackers supports API access and [integrations with external systems](https://www.reviewtrackers.com/partner-integrations/?ref=reputation-insider.com). Its current customer-experience materials also describe connections to more than 1,000 applications through Zapier and other integrations.

Data Only

### A separate plan exists for teams that primarily want review data

Data Only is intended for organizations that want to combine review data from more than 100 sources with their own reporting, analytics or customer-experience systems.

API

### Review information can feed internal reporting and applications

API access allows larger organizations to move review data into business-intelligence tools, CRM workflows and other internal systems.

API use is governed by the public Master Service Agreement. The agreement includes rate limits and reserves ReviewTrackers' ability to change access methods, API tools and RT Content.

Buyer fit

## ReviewTrackers fits buyers whose reputation brief is still primarily about customer feedback

Good fit

### Multi-location businesses with reviews spread across several sites

Hotel groups, automotive networks, healthcare organizations, restaurants and property portfolios can benefit when customer feedback is distributed across many locations and industry-specific review sources.

Teams that need review text for customer-experience analysis also have a clearer reason to buy than businesses looking only for star-rating monitoring.

The Data Only plan can make sense for organizations that already have their own BI or customer-data environment.

Likely to overpay

### Companies whose main reputation problem sits elsewhere

A small business focused only on Google reviews can accomplish much of the core workflow with simpler tools.

Companies that need deep listings infrastructure, local pages or distributed local-marketing execution will find broader platforms more complete.

ReviewTrackers also lacks the media-monitoring and AI-search intelligence required for wider corporate reputation work.

Pricing

## The official site publishes the package structure but currently withholds the dollar rate

ReviewTrackers says pricing is licensed per location and billed annually. The current [pricing page](https://www.reviewtrackers.com/plans/?ref=reputation-insider.com)describes Data Only, Starter and Essential without displaying a current standard dollar price.

[View current plans ↗ ](https://www.reviewtrackers.com/plans/?ref=reputation-insider.com)

| Package | Commercial model | Current published scope |
| --------- | --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Data Only | Custom annual quote | Review data from 100+ sources for use in the customer's own platform, with API and SSO positioned as core capabilities. |
| Starter | Licensed per location | Core monitoring, alerts, dashboards, review and feedback requests, responding and related reputation-management workflows. |
| Essential | Licensed per location | Starter functionality plus deeper customer-experience analysis and Competitor Insights. |
| Listings | Add-on | Local Listings Management can be added to the core reputation product rather than serving as the primary platform proposition. |

G2 currently displays a provider-supplied starting price of $89 per location per month and says a free trial is available. Its pricing record also says the underlying pricing information was last updated in October 2024\. Capterra currently lists all ReviewTrackers packages as custom quote and shows no confirmed free trial. Reputation Insider therefore does not treat the $89 figure or trial claim as a current official 2026 offer.

## Pros

- The product stays focused on reviews and feedback, which keeps the buying case clearer than at platforms carrying many unrelated local-marketing modules.
- Experience Analysis turns review text into usable customer-experience themes instead of stopping at ratings and response rates.
- Competitor Insights adds location-level context that is useful for businesses operating in crowded local markets.
- API and Data Only options make the review dataset usable for companies with established internal analytics systems.
- Independent users consistently rate ease of use and customer service highly.

## Cons

- The current official site does not display standard dollar pricing, which makes procurement comparison harder than it should be.
- Listings are an add-on and the platform does not offer the broader local-data infrastructure available from specialist listings vendors.
- Review ingestion and response availability remain dependent on external review-site APIs and can vary by source.
- Public contract language around minimum location commitments and contract modification is unusually favorable to the vendor.
- ReviewTrackers has no comparable product for broad media monitoring or dedicated AI-search visibility measurement.

Contract and renewal

## The public MSA contains several provisions buyers should price into the deal

ReviewTrackers publishes a [Master Service Agreement](https://www.reviewtrackers.com/terms-service/master-service-agreement/?ref=reputation-insider.com)covering fees, locations, renewal, liability and service levels.

Auto-renewal **The agreement renews for the same length as the initial term**

Either party must provide written notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before the current term expires.

Minimum locations **Added locations increase the contracted minimum**

New locations are charged on a prorated basis and increase the minimum contracted quantity for the remainder of the contract term.

Removed locations **Removing a location does not generate a credit**

The MSA states that no refund or credit is provided for locations removed before the end of the contract term.

Termination **Remaining fees can survive termination**

The customer remains responsible for fees due for the rest of the term unless termination results from a material breach by ReviewTrackers.

Liability **The general cap uses six months of fees**

Aggregate liability is generally capped at amounts paid or due during the six months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Contract changes **ReviewTrackers reserves broad amendment rights**

The MSA says an amended agreement can be posted online without direct customer notification and continued use may be treated as consent.

One clause is particularly buyer-unfriendly: if the MSA conflicts with the separate Terms and Conditions, the agreement says the provision more favorable to ReviewTrackers takes precedence, with ReviewTrackers determining that question in its sole discretion. Buyers should seek clarification or negotiated language rather than assuming the web terms are administrative boilerplate.

Service level

## The published SLA sets a 99.9% availability target with credits for deeper failures

The SLA appears as Exhibit A to the public Master Service Agreement and applies both to the platform and defined API availability.

Published uptime target **99.9%**

ReviewTrackers states that it will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain three-nines availability, excluding scheduled maintenance and stated exceptions.

**Below 99%**

The SLA provides account credits equal to five times the amount paid for the period during which ReviewTrackers was unavailable.

**Below 95%**

Failure to maintain 95% uptime is defined as a material breach under the published SLA.

**Credit cap**

Service credits are capped at a maximum of 30 days of paid service.

**External failures**

Scheduled maintenance and problems caused by customers, third parties or circumstances outside ReviewTrackers' reasonable control are excluded.

Security and data

## The public security page is useful, although some of its compliance language needs careful reading

ReviewTrackers publishes a [security FAQ](https://www.reviewtrackers.com/terms-service/security/?ref=reputation-insider.com), GDPR documentation, Standard Contractual Clauses and a [subprocessor list](https://www.reviewtrackers.com/terms-service/platform-subprocessors/?ref=reputation-insider.com).

Current public controls **Security documentation exists, but infrastructure certifications should not be misattributed**

**US data hosting** ReviewTrackers says customer data is stored in the United States on AWS infrastructure.

**HIPAA** The company says it will execute a Business Associate Agreement upon request for customers requiring HIPAA-related use.

**Testing** The public security page states that the application and website undergo annual penetration testing and daily security scans.

**Subprocessors** Published subprocessors include AWS, Salesforce/Heroku and Twilio/SendGrid for hosting, customer records and communications.

ReviewTrackers' security page lists SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, ISO 27001, FedRAMP and other standards in the section describing AWS data-center infrastructure. Reputation Insider does not interpret that list as evidence that ReviewTrackers itself holds each of those certifications. The same page also still references the former EU-US Privacy Shield framework, which makes parts of the compliance copy look dated.

Independent user evidence

## The public review record is positive, though much smaller than the largest platforms in this category

ReviewTrackers currently has enough independent reviews to identify recurring operating themes. Reputation Insider gives greater weight to specific comments about workflows and source reliability than to the aggregate score alone.

4.6 / 5 G2 161 product reviews on the current PG Forsta seller profile when checked in September 2026

4.7 / 5 Capterra 172 reviews; Ease of Use 4.7 and Customer Service 4.7

### What users repeatedly value

Review aggregation, straightforward navigation, multi-location visibility and responsive customer support appear frequently in positive reviews.

### Where friction appears

Users describe synchronization delays, notification issues and cases where responses or listing work still need to be handled directly on Google, Yelp or another external source.

### External dependency is real

User comments about API changes and source-specific limitations align with the MSA, which explicitly declines to guarantee discovery of every review-based or social-media mention.

External review data: [G2](https://www.g2.com/products/reviewtrackers/reviews?ref=reputation-insider.com)and [Capterra](https://www.capterra.com/p/140801/ReviewTrackers/reviews/?ref=reputation-insider.com).

Reputation Insider verdict

## ReviewTrackers makes the most sense when reviews themselves are the operating problem

The product remains relatively focused at a time when many competitors are expanding into much larger local-marketing systems. That focus works well for teams that need multi-source review monitoring, response workflows and customer-experience analysis without buying a much broader platform.

The main diligence issues sit outside the interface. Pricing is no longer meaningfully public, external review platforms still determine part of the data quality, and the public MSA contains aggressive language around minimum location commitments, amendments and liability. The ownership chain through InMoment, Press Ganey Forsta and now Qualtrics also makes roadmap clarity more important for buyers signing longer agreements.

Strongest use case Multi-location review monitoring combined with customer-feedback analytics

Main product strength Turning distributed review text into centralized operational insight

Main commercial concern Private current pricing and restrictive public contract provisions

Reputation Insider view A credible specialist review platform for buyers that do not need a full local-marketing operating system
