NiceJob review
NiceJob automates review requests for service businesses and extends the same customer database into referrals, rebooking campaigns and website review displays. Self-service pricing is public, while multi-location arrangements use a separate sales process.

Product position
Review requests remain the core workflow
NiceJob began as review-generation software and still organizes the product around customer events such as a completed job or paid invoice. Those events can trigger review requests automatically when the platform is connected to supported field-service, accounting or CRM software.
The account stores customer records and uses campaign rules to decide when messages are sent. The Pro tier extends the same model into referrals, repeat-business reminders, surveys and one-off email broadcasts.
Campaigns can start from connected software, manual enrollment or imported customer data.
Widgets, a hosted review microsite and social sharing reuse feedback already collected from connected sources.
Existing customers can enter referral, rebooking, survey or broadcast campaigns under separate rules.
Review generation
Requests can be triggered automatically or sent manually
The current campaign documentation describes a review workflow using SMS and email messages with timed follow-ups.
The Get Reviews campaign can continue following up during the sequence and stops when NiceJob matches a completed review to the customer. Repeat-enrollment safeguards can also prevent the same recurring customer from receiving requests too frequently.
Supported integrations can enroll the relevant customer when a job is closed or another configured event occurs.
Review requests can also be sent from the dashboard when a business does not have a compatible automated trigger.
The QR workflow records scans, click-throughs and resulting reviews and can attempt to match a review with a recent customer record.
Customers can unsubscribe from SMS or email, after which NiceJob suppresses campaign communication until the customer explicitly opts back in.
Review channels and responses
Collection spans multiple review sites, while direct response publishing is narrower
NiceJob can connect external review profiles so customers can choose where to post and so new reviews can be imported into the Stories dashboard. Current help documentation references Google, Facebook, G2, BBB, Zillow, Capterra and Tripadvisor among supported connections.
Businesses can prioritize specific destinations. NiceJob can also alter the order when a particular option creates friction for the customer.
NiceJob's own review channel requires a rating, comment, name and email and can be disabled if the business wants requests to go only to third-party profiles.
Responses to other connected sources such as Facebook are redirected to the original platform rather than published directly through NiceJob.
The upgraded Google connection gives NiceJob permission to read reviews and publish responses or supported content on the connected Business Profile.
When enabled, customers first provide a 1–10 score. Higher scores are directed toward public review options, while lower scores are encouraged to send private feedback. NiceJob says both public and private options remain available to every customer because hiding the public option from dissatisfied customers would constitute review gating under Google's rules. NiceJob's current documentation explains the routing logic here.
Pro functions
The higher tier extends the product beyond review collection
The Pro subscription adds customer-retention and referral functions that operate from the same customer records used by review campaigns.
Referral campaigns can start after a qualifying review or be sent to selected contacts. Referred leads and link activity are recorded in the account.
Repeats uses scheduled timing rules, while Broadcasts sends a single email campaign outside the automated sequence structure.
NPS campaigns collect customer scores and comments. Gifts can be triggered automatically through configured integrations rather than sent manually from the campaign invitation screen.
The feature compares review count, rating and recency for selected local competitors rather than providing broad competitive media or social monitoring.
The Help Center says current Starter users can receive AI-generated suggestions for Google reviews, while Pro adds automatic posting. The pricing page lists AI Replies under Pro. Buyers relying on that distinction should confirm the current entitlement before purchase.
Integrations and multi-location use
NiceJob works most directly when customer events arrive from operational software
Current documentation lists direct connections with systems including Jobber, Housecall Pro, QuickBooks Online, FieldPulse, FreshBooks, Square, Clio and other service-business applications. Zapier can connect additional systems when a native integration is unavailable.
Customer, employee and job data can then enter NiceJob automatically, allowing the review campaign to start without staff copying the contact into a second application.
Native connectors can use product-specific job or payment events. Zapier-based connections depend on the triggers and actions available in the other application.
NiceJob's franchise product provides network-level reporting while allowing individual locations to operate their own campaigns.
NiceJob's help documentation says locations with separate Google Business Profiles and social pages generally require their own NiceJob license.
An official NiceJob page prepared for AI systems and updated in October 2026 states that NiceJob serves 7,000+ businesses and that the wider Paystone ecosystem has 30,000+ business clients. That page is available here. Other current NiceJob resource and product pages say their benchmarks use data from 50,000+ businesses and sometimes label that figure as businesses served. The free-tools page uses the 50,000+ figure. Reputation Insider therefore does not treat 50,000+ as a verified current customer count.
Pricing
NiceJob publishes prices for its two self-service plans
The current pricing page lists monthly USD prices for Starter and Pro. A 14-day trial is available without a credit card.
Published pricing ↗Includes automated review requests, website review widgets, social sharing, the team leaderboard and a hosted review microsite.
Adds referrals, rebooking campaigns, Broadcasts, Gifts, NPS surveys, Competitive Intel and additional response automation.
Optional managed website service sold in addition to the NiceJob subscription.
NiceJob asks franchise and multi-location buyers to contact sales for pricing based on the number of locations.
NiceJob's public pricing page says self-service customers are not locked into a contract and can cancel at any time. Its separate October 2026 structured product page says multi-location and franchise customers can have contracts with specific pricing terms, so the no-contract statement should not automatically be applied to negotiated accounts.
Contract and cancellation
The public NiceJob Terms still date from August 2023
The current NiceJob Terms of Service identify NiceJob as a trade name operated by Paystone and describe monthly invoicing and automatic renewal for the standard service.
The Terms authorize recurring credit-card charges until NiceJob receives a valid cancellation notice.
Cancellation can be submitted through the app or by email. The Terms state that cancellation is not valid until the customer receives confirmation.
NiceJob says customers will receive at least 30 days' notice before the end of the current monthly term when pricing is updated.
NiceJob states that its liability is limited to fees paid during the relevant year and in no case exceeds $100, subject to jurisdictions where that limitation cannot lawfully apply.
The public self-service Terms do not establish the commercial conditions for every custom multi-location arrangement. Pricing, term length, location commitments and cancellation rights should be checked in the applicable order or contract.
Privacy and data handling
NiceJob is covered by Paystone's group privacy policy
Paystone's Privacy Policy expressly includes the NiceJob division and describes how business and end-customer information is processed.
Businesses using NiceJob remain responsible for their own privacy notices, lawful basis and customer consent where required.
Organizations with geographic data-residency requirements should account for the international transfers described in the group privacy policy.
Paystone provides a specific NiceJob support route for requesting removal of account-related data, subject to legal and legitimate retention requirements.
Reputation Insider did not find a current public NiceJob-specific SOC 2 attestation in the documentation reviewed, so buyers requiring one should request the applicable evidence directly.
Buyer fit
NiceJob is oriented toward businesses where completed jobs can trigger review requests
Local service businesses that want review requests tied to operational events
Home services, contractors and other appointment or job-based businesses can connect review acquisition directly to completed work instead of relying on staff to remember each request.
Businesses that also need simple referral, repeat-customer and NPS workflows can use the Pro tier without adding a separate campaign platform for each function.
Agencies managing smaller service clients can also use NiceJob where the required CRM or accounting connection is available.
Organizations needing deep analytics, broad monitoring or complex enterprise controls
NiceJob is not a media-monitoring or social-listening platform and does not replace software used for broader corporate reputation intelligence.
Review responses outside Google and NiceJob still require work on the original publisher, which can matter for businesses managing many review platforms.
Large multi-location buyers should test reporting, location administration and contract structure separately from the standard single-business product.

- Current G2 and Capterra profiles contain several hundred user reviews.

Independent user evidence
Software-review scores are high, while Trustpilot shows a smaller and more divided sample
NiceJob has substantial review volume on G2 and Gartner Digital Markets. Trustpilot contains far fewer reviews and should be read separately rather than averaged into the software-review scores.
Automation is the most consistent positive theme
Recent G2 reviewers repeatedly describe review requests running automatically after jobs close in their connected operating software.
Customization and reporting appear in current criticism
Reviewers mention limits around widget styling, campaign configuration, reporting depth and some industry-specific integrations.
Some current reviews identify request-timing problems
An October 2026 G2 reviewer reports that a request can arrive immediately after a job closes, before the business has completed its own billing process.
Complaints about missing Google reviews need source-level caution
Trustpilot includes complaints from businesses whose customer reviews later disappeared from Google. NiceJob cannot control Google's review filtering, so those complaints establish the user experience but do not establish that NiceJob caused the removals.
A significant number of recent G2 reviews are marked as seller-invited or incentivized, although G2 says those reviews still pass its verification process. Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice use the same Gartner Digital Markets review pool, so their 203-review corpus should be counted once rather than treated as three independent samples.
External evidence: G2, Capterra and Trustpilot.
Reputation Insider verdict
NiceJob is primarily a review-acquisition system for service businesses
Its clearest use case starts when a job is completed. NiceJob can take that event from connected business software, send the customer a sequence of review requests and stop the sequence when a review is matched. That reduces the manual work involved in maintaining a regular review-request process.
Pro adds several customer-marketing functions, but buyers should separate those additions from the core review product when comparing vendors. Competitive tracking is Google-focused, response publishing is limited across third-party review sites and current user reviews point to lighter reporting and customization than some buyers expect.
The public self-service buying route is straightforward. Franchise and multi-location procurement requires more scrutiny because pricing and contractual terms move outside the standard published subscription structure.
